Those pictures are from 2019, when I visited HuaLian the first time. If you ever have a chance to travel there, 1 day should be enough for the HuaLian city (well, more like town) itself, but plan at least 2 days out in the county, especially if you like exploring and hiking. Stay longer if you want to experience water activities, they got SUP and kayaking available there too.
