I want you to sit and reflect on what the best meal you've ever had was. Truly look back. What was it? What did it taste like? How did it make you feel?
I can't guarantee that your journey to Garlic will be like mine, but I hope it is.
Across my 32 rotations around the sun I've had the privilege of visiting a fair amount of countries around the world and eating delicious food, but nothing like Garlic. My friend and I came for Restaurant Week and they had a 16-course meal for an obscenely good price. Little did I know that I was about to have the single greatest meal in my life.
They say that you don't realize what the good times are until you're looking back, but as dish after dish of beautifully plated exotic dishes came out, I was awakened to a symphony of spices making up feel-good food on a rainy evening. I'm afraid that many of the names escaped me (I kept the receipt at home to reference later,) but as we progressed through the meal I was acutely aware that I was experiencing in that very moment the most delicious meal of my life. I felt like a goof getting a little choked up over food, but hopefully I get a pass just for having so deep an appreciation for something.
Oh! The other things - Staff were attentive and the restaurant is beautiful.
Garlic is always a good choice for restaurant week, it’s on of the ones I always return to. They have a great menu with many dishes that I love. Some of my favorites are the muhammara dip, zucchini pancakes, lamb with hummus and the meatballs.
Service was great and they were super accommodating fir my friend who has food allergies.
Overall great experience!
