Doesn't look like much from the road, but when you enter THE LAUGHING CHEFS' venue, it's very inviting. With a beautiful garden and hidden little spots, an Art Gallery, beautiful stained glass doors.. and then you enter the main restaurant, where you're met by such friendly people, seated in a gorgeous dining room, well lit and beautifully decorated. The service is excellent, the food is delicious and very well organised. The Mom and Daughter team have such great energy and even though you're in a more upmarket, fine dining restaurant, they make you feel extremely welcome and at home.... almost as though you're enjoying a night out in their own private dining room. The music and entertainment interaction was amazing and we had so much fun. I recommend this venue for anyone who would like to enjoy a fun night out with some friends and family. Also great for large groups, big tables for any special occasion!

We visited this venue on a few occasions now – every time through a musical evening and have to say, it certainly is a treat worth returning to. The setting is great, old house and old school hospitality. We loved it and given the type of events attended, I thought the menu options perfect – we had the tapas platter – great food that tastes good! Since it is such a great venue with lovely atmosphere, we even referred friends for their special events and is due for another visit soon. Check their website, they schedule great entertainment from time to time with quality local artists. Well worth a visit!

Food starters was nice but very small and very high price with portions on a wooden block :( For such nice food and such high price I will expect better presentation. Its such a nice venue but even the restrooms need a touch up with at least expensive spray and soap. If you want to charge your client high prices then at least present your restaurant better. Over all service was great!

The starters were fine. The rest was bland. Also, we were the only guests on a Saturday night. I will not be returning!
