走进Jolly''s Indian Bistro,闻到淡淡的咖喱味。我们点了2个套餐:姜黄饭炒羊肉、椰奶虾仁米饭,都含有蔬菜沙拉和印度大饼。味道不错,只是两份肉食都稍辣。

This is a great little spot, with a variety of interesting Indian fare. We tried the roasted eggplant, which was excellent, along with butter chicken that was very good. Top it off with some fresh, hot naan, and a pot of Chai tea, the bill was less than $40 - great value for the money!

Tiny place on the South side of West 4th Ave, just West of MacDonald St. with an owner-chef which features trans-Indian inspired cuisine available in not-spicy and mild for timid palates or full hot by request.there are maybe 10 tables, lights are low, soft, hanging drapes define the ceiling, decor is discreet and appropriate and the servers are in costume. They are efficient and informative about the short menu with ~8 entrées prepared only after ordered. Pappadums are available while you wait and don't be shy to ask, your order may take a while depending on busyness. It's very romantic to take a date, the food is varied, exotic, delightful and totally adjustable to every palate. Make a reservation midweek and not later than 7 pm, then enjoy!

From the street, this restaurant looks like just about any other neighborhood eatery. On a Sunday evening about a third of the table were taken, so the service was quick and the food was surprisingly good. Butter Chicken was advertised on the reader board—we choose it and the Mulgai Paneer Jalfrezi. Both were exceptionally seasoned and not overly oily as these tends to be elsewhere. We were quite pleased.

Jolly‘s Indian Bistro,头顶浓烈的金黄如大幕一般,桌布为热情的酒红,米饭则呈现饱满的杏黄。暖色,如同咖喱、孜然等调料,一同浸泡在大块的鸡肉、虾肉中,温情着秋意。 饭店的主人就叫Jolly,出生于印度新德里,游历欧洲。曾于多家高端知名饭店宾馆,为名人政要掌勺。1996年,夫妻二人移居温哥华,实现了自己开一家饭店的梦想。
