口味还不錯,不会和发起人差太多,但在公交车站门口会有汽车废气的味道较令人不舒服。但肉骨茶湯可以一直加就感觉挺不错的。喜欢!

This place is housed in an old coffeeshop. Like a time capsule. Nothing has changed! Peppery style Pork Rib Soup (Bak Kut Teh). The best. Best kept secret for locals. No tourists. Open till late night. Free refill of soup! You will fall in love with the food and the place. Many locals and regular frequent the place.

Reasonable priced, quantity and taste. Try everything, you won't regret. Those expecting good service, you can forget about. One of the servers (elderly gentleman) serves like you owe him a living. Limited sitting capacity during rush hours else, all. Is good. If you are driving, Balestier Road is jam packed so please for Christ sake, park at the open public carpark behind the Condo.

Thought this is a small shop, but very traditional one, so we just went inside for a quick Bak Kut Teh meal. Surprisingly, it's so yummy and they refill the soup for your Bak Kut Teh. They also serve several other dishes like intestine, ..etc. Nice try!!

I was pointed to this place by some foodie friends in Singapore and it didn't disappoint. As soon as you walk in to this cafe you feel like a time travel back 30 years. Everything in this no-air-conditioning corner shop, from the wall tile to the ceiling fans, looks like something from a mid-80's movie set. The must have dish is the traditional bak kut teh (braised pork rib in a clear peppery broth). Unlike the Malaysian version of which the broth is more herbal based, the Singaporean version is black pepper and garlic based. The pork was tender and tasty but the soup (which can be refilled) is the real star here. Highly recommend for anyone who is looking for a traditional Singaporean experience!

有中文菜单,装修像香港路边的茶餐厅,东西比有名的几个便宜点,味道感觉和连锁店也差不多,因为没有空调,吃起来满头大汗
