A friend recommended this place and I'm really glad she did. We met for dim sum on a freezing November evening and it really warmed us up! We chose one menu each, and received soup and the dim sum of our choice for about €7.50, which was totally reasonable. It was all so fresh and so delicious and the staff were very lovely and patient with our greediness when we wanted one more round :) I'll definitely head back there!
This was a really lovely evening at this clean, modern, new restaurant in Gleim Str. We tried various different dishes, starting with very tasty vegetarian dumplings, with a subtle star anise flavour in the vegetable filling. My friends also had pork dumplings which were fat and full of filling andthey said were fantastic. They then had a beef dish, which arrived steaming hot and full of fresh, crispy vegetables as well as lots of meat. This came with rice. We also ordered some vegetarian noodles, which were homemade (apparently from all the reviews I've read), and had a lovely, rich colour and lots of vegetables. I had the salt and pepper tofu, which, while delicious, was much too dry as a main course (on the chef's recommendations page), and was enormous. Really well cooked, crispy and very hot and spicy, but without the noodles, it would have been a mistake... it needs to be shared (with about three people), and another dish with a sauce. After a little break, we then shared a couple of desserts - sesame balls, which weren't really my thing, a bit raw inside, and the chocolate filled dumplings, but my friends liked them both, and specially the matcha green tea ice cream that came with one of them. All in all, I would definitely go back and try out some other dishes, and I'd have the veggie dumplings and noodles again. The service was outstandingly friendly, so as this is near where I live, I'm pleased to have tried it out.
