Kedai Makan is tucked away in an unassuming brick building on Bellevue Avenue. They started out as a small walk-up just around the block and are so popular that they now have a full restaurant with about 30 seats & a bar. If you are not familiar with Malaysian food - it's a great melting pot of many Asian cultures. Be aware that many things are SPICY - the staff is good about pointing it out. On our last visit I tried the Fried Frog Legs - they were battered and fried and covered in chiles - hot and delicious. My favourite things on the menu are the Dal (lentil soup), Roti, Curry Noodles and Nasi Goreng (fried rice). They've also added Vietnamese Banh Xeo (Saigon Crepe) - another knock out dish. My teens LOVE it here. It's beautiful and full of energy. They will try anything here because the food is so good. A fantastic culinary adventure - with reasonable prices to boot!
