OKR is usually inundated with coffee shops and basic eateries, most not so on the comfort level coupled with parking challenges. Chong Heng offers hope to patrons who want easy parking (out front doorstep else covered basement with elevator, best of all - free of charge!) & cool aircond comfort. I've been here a couple of times. Claypot Curry Fish Head was aromatic but not too spicy, sufficient fish head pieces & plenty of cabbage/long beans/brinjal/tofu puffs. We asked for fish slices to be added else it'd just be fish head pieces. Great for those wanting to suck and poke at the bones but us softies also want to eat some actual fish meat. Sweet & sour pork was good - decent sized pork cubes, juicy (not deepfried to death) with sweet & tangy sauce. Steamed white silken tofu with preserved veg (mui-choy) and minced pork was ok. Basic veg garlic stir-fry ok too. They serve complimentary dessert of they day - we had green bean soup once, another time was iced cincau. About RM20 per head unless you order fancier dishes. Will be back to try the roast meats - saw a few roast ducks stream past us and they looked mighty tasty! Staff was reasonably attentive - mostly foreigners but they could communicate in basic English/BM. Captain was a chinese lady. Patrons could also watch the kitchen in action.
