I was hopeful that my second visit would be as fantastic as my first, and it was! It's been two years since we were in town, and I made a reservation as soon as I found out we would be able to stay in Orlando. Our server, Michael, was the best! He knew everything about the menu, and made some recommendations, based on what we told him we had last time. I can not stress this enough: let you server recommend wine pairings with your food selections. Both times we dined here, these pairing took our experience over the top! Michael's suggestions were spot on, and everything from the warm bread to start, through dessert were delicious! We started with the Fried Green tomatoes, which were amazing, but the shrimp and grits were my favorite. I've had that dish all over the south, and this is my favorite rendition! I could eat just that with the bread, and be happy! It's that good. The salad sounded amazing, but I could tell I was going to eat a lot, so skipped it. We went right into the entrees. They had the filet mignon on special, and Michael sweetly let us know that there were only a few left. We ordered one, and also the Corvina fish. Both were outstanding. The fish was fresh, tender and seasoned perfectly. The filet was off the charts. The sauce that it was plated with was so good. Again, the wine pairings just brought it to the next level. We finished with he homemade lemon doughnuts- yum! Next time, the peanut butter chocolate cake for sure! Definitely, my favorite restaurant in Florida!
