All four of are party work in the hospitality industry, so were a little put out by the curtness of the manager when telling us we couldn\t eat outside. Being put in the back of the restaurant by the kitchen wasn\t great especially as it was 35c but an initially friendly waiter raised my hopes. I ordered the lobster special which was very delicious however the rest of the food was mediocre. After sitting through the meal in uncomfortable conditions with no attention from the staff, upon asking for the bill we were greeted with a £7 service charge. Having received no serviced we queried this with the waiter asking it be removed and a tip left at our discretion at which point he proceeded to get very rude towards us, becoming sarcastic and lied (I checked upon returning home the legality) about being unable to remove it from the bill. We then saw the waiter and the manager share a joke at our expense over our clear unhappiness with the meal from the bar area. Needless to say we will not be returning.
