SO happy we stumbled across this place! A lovely, authentic no-frills family run restaurant. Homemade, delicious, local food at a more than reasonable price! We want to go back to Siena justo go back to this restaurant!

From the moment our hotel told us that this restaurant made all of their own pasta, I knew we needed to try it. It\s a tiny little place so worth making a reservation. The pasta was delicious, as was the seafood. Our son got the sea bass with the head, fins, and scales still left on, but when it became apparent that he didn\t know how to clean it she whisked it away and brought it back moments later prepared for eating. The head was still on which didn\t bother any of us, but if you prefer to your food to have a bit less personality perhaps steer away from the seafood. We also had gnocchi with swordfish and tomatoes that melted in the mouth. The cheese tray comes with a green pepper jam that is beyond delicious. The tiramisu was so good it made me feel like I\d never eaten real tiramisu before. Our waitress was wonderful. She spoke English, Italian, and French fluently. She was very helpful, made excellent suggestions, and taught us how to eat the food like locals.
