I visited just before new year for a quick bite. Eating out as a coeliac can be worrying as if I get served the wrong thing I my meal it will make me ill. The back of McD\s tray liners has all the dietary information on it so it is easy to see what is in the food if there is something,you need to avoid. Anyway I asked the advice if the staff and they also have a book that that can check for this to advise customers with special dietary needs. The staff were great, really friendly and helpful. Them place was pretty full and some teenagers just came in and took up a table but didn\t order any food. It seems that some smuggle alcohol in and like to sit in here and stay warm. One of the managers gave them their marching orders, no messing about, just told them they had to leave there and then. Good disciplinary skills he had too. They took of out the door meekly with no cheek. Even the cleaner, a mature lady of around my own age was a real hard worker with a good attitude, engaging with customers but getting the job done well at the same time. You can say what you like about McDonalds but my experience is that their staff put a lot of other customer service businesses to shame with a great attitude and good service. Good job Mc Donald\s in South Queensferry. These visitors from Ireland were impressed.
