I love the Green Onion. It is simple, fresh food that is bursting with flavour. The staff are great. They will ensure your water, salsa, chips and drinks are always topped up (Make sure to ask for the spicy salsa. It is house made and fantastic but not for the faint of heart). I\m always torn between the Steak Ranchero or the Fajitas. The one problem which is a good thing, is that your food comes out so hot that you have to wait until it cools down. Now that is fresh! Its basic, its not fancy and that is perfect! Worth the trip

We were visiting in the area with no car so looking for restaurants within walking distance of the USS Iowa attraction. This was rated well and the rating was correct. We were here during lunch and noticed that several of the USS Iowa staff were also eating here along with what looked like local office/medical staff. You can never go wrong when you find a restaurant that the locals take advantage of. Great lunch menu at a low cost.
