A great place for breakfast or brunch that not many people seem to know about (perhaps excepting Darlinghurst locals). It is fairly small and has a very cool vibe - the tables on the sidewalk are reminiscent of cafes found in Europe. Great egg dishes.. their bacon and egg roll is perhaps the best I\ve had anywhere and their cider roasted mushrooms are also outstanding. Coffee is great.

On a beautiful Sunday morning, en route to another eatery we came across The Royal of Darlinghurst. Although restaurant seating was limited we managed to get a table promptly and appreciated the almost immediate service. The breakfast/brunch menu was excellent and as a group we found it difficult to make a choice but opted for the truffle eggs, shakshuka eggs and vegetarian mushroom dish - all were delicious! With it\s great coffee and excellent juices we enjoyed our visit to The Royal thoroughly.
