A group of us went to this restaurant recently to sample the $50 banquet (Menu B)consisting of 3 dips and warm pita breads to start, a Greek salad, some spiced sausage, BBQ haloumi and chicken and lamb souvlaki skewers followed by a main course of lamb with baked potatoes. The restaurant itself was very busy on a Saturday night but despite the number of people the service did not suffer - staff were attentive and checked in on our group regularly. The entrée of warm pita bread and dips set us off to a great start as the dips were delicious and the bread so warm we had to remind ourselves not to overindulge as there was more food coming. The spiced sausage and BBQ haloumi arrived next and these were equally tasty. The lamb souvlaki was cooked well but I felt needed a little seasoning and although I didn\t have the chicken souvlaki I was told by others who did that it was flavoured well but slightly overcooked. The main dish being the lamb and potatoes came out and was cooked perfectly so that as you glided your fork through it, it simply fell off the bone. It was juicy and tender and exactly what we were after though by this point we were too full to finish the very generous portion of lamb provided for the table. The potatoes were delicious and the only criticism I would have (and only very minor) is that in the past I have had lamb cooked with the lemon so that some of that flavour infused the lamb whereas here the lemons were added after cooking as a garnish. At the end of the evening as we could not finish the lamb, being so full from the generous servings of earlier dishes, we were promptly provided with containers so that we could take the rest of the food with us without even having to ask which we appreciated. I would definitely recommend this restaurant and if you are struggling to decide on the dishes to choose, I would say the dips and warm pita followed by the baked lamb with potatoes are a must.
