I was in Summer Hill and needed lunch and saw this cafe on TA. I\m so glad I found it and would go back to SH just to eat there! Waiters were wonderful and friendly, service impeccable and the food was fantastic. I had the 2 course lunch for $30. First up the cod croquettes, which were light, crispy and tasty, and then the portobello pie which was among the best I\ve ever had. All washed down with a beautiful glass of white the waiter recommended. All up it cost around $43. If you\re in the area, just go.

we had the chefs surprise, 4 courses, shared between two. all food was cooked as you expect, and presented well. staff are great had to help you where ever they could and explained the food as it was delivered. as we had a sitter we asked for everything with in a couple of hours and they did. this place has zest, it\s grown up and you almost feel like you are rich and famous for a moment. the reason the mark is average is mostly the meal we had was average nothing surprising that we would go wow! but it was nice and cooked and presented well.

Having been several times and made it clear we needed coeliac non-gluten food, and having been assured multiple times that the owner is a coeliac and a suite of their dishes are gluten free, so we took coeliac friends too. On about the 6th or 7th visit we were told by the waitress that \this gluten free thing is a joke\ and it\s a bunch of hipster nonsense...at which point we explained again what a coeliac is, and were told \oh, well those dishes aren\t really gluten free after all\. Basically a bunch of arrogant a holes who couldn\t have upset my partner more if they\d tried. We walked out, then went out of our way to bring it up with the owner, particularly about the attitude of their staff, and they blamed us for not explaining what kind of gluten free we needed.... Needless to say, we have never been back and i am quite happy to bad mouth them at length, anywhere, any time.
