I have been going to Quakers inn since I was a toddler and I\m 25 now , but tonight just added to a list of recent bad events . I agree with all the comments below that management is horrible . Tonight I ordered a Thai beef salad and my friend ordered the peri peri wrap . The lady who took our order was very unfriendly , I used to always get served by a lovely young girl with long black hair . When my salad came out my friend thought it was corned beef that\s how poorly cooked it was. I understand restaurants sometimes cook beef medium rare which is fine , but this looked purple and I have had Thai beef salads all around the world and I have never had one like that . I took it over to the lady who we placed our order with and she rudely pointed to the manager and said take it to him . So I calmly went up to him and told him my problems with my meal (which I hate doing because I hate complaining ) and he very bluntly said "that\s how we serve it here " , as said before I\ve had a lot of Thai beef salads before and never one like that , so that\s what I told him . He took the plate and offered to cook the meat more . I went back to the table and got my meal with meat which was actually cooked and at this point my friend still hadn\t got her wrap . My meat was cooked but the whole meal was flavourless . My friend finally got her wrap which she ordered because I had it months ago with her and it was not like we both remembered . It was a Peri peri wrap with a whole heap of lettuce and random pumpkin . I read below that bookings aren\t required , if the manager seats you he will let you know that he is annoyed if you haven\t made a booking which he did to my mum months ago when she walked in before 6 on a Monday when the place was empty . Even though the place is local I don\t think it\s worth it anymore .
