This has fast become my two sons favourite dining and Uni playing experience. Funky set-up, with some laid back tunes, soft lighting and easy going friendly staff this is a great place to drop in before going to the movies next door, socialising with friends or even ducking in for a quick solo meal on the way home. Of course, all this would be pointless if not for the fact the food is delicious. Some great variety while still serving up classic Indian dishes. When I don\t know what to cook my boys Curry Cafe has been a saviour more then once. Is reasonably priced and the meals come out pretty quickly. Is even beer on tap if that takes your fancy. If your looking for a great local Indian restuarant with a little twist then this is the place for you.

Wonderful, modern take on an Indian Restaurant, very Northcote (not a bad thing). Relaxed retro feel, with 50\s kitchen tables etc. Bonus is the authentic Indian soft drinks (Thumbs Up!). Friendly and fast service, and the bonus is that it\s great value for money....YAY!

I have had some great regional Indian food in Melbourne great but I do miss a good Anglo Indian Curry and have yet to find one in Melbourne. However this place does a pretty good job at it. It is a lot nicer inside than it looks on the outside and the woman who welcomed and served us on Saturday was amazing and welcoming. The Lamb Madras was very good and Lamb was perfectly cooked and not chewy like a lot of Indian restaurants. The Tikka Masala although not like the British one was amazingly fresh and tasty so different but good. Garlic Naan was perfect just wish I had ordered two. As it is local I am definitely going back as three are so many other dishes I want to try and to hopefully receive the same standard of wonderfully friendly service.
