Arrived 730pm on a saturday no reservation on a whim with my wife. Greeted by a stern looking waitress who asked no more than \reservation\. I said no slighty shocked and she walked off in a huff, i\ve had a more welcoming reception at a prison gate. After some discussion between her and and what appeared to be the maitrade we were seated. The restaurant itself is very dated with mismatching decor and uncomfortable seats. Drinks and wine glasses were ordered and were delevered in a hap hazard manner by 3 different waiters. Ordered entree starting with Aranchini which they were out of...at 740pm on a busy saturday night with alledgelly many more reserved tables ahead of us as we were told. Ordered garlic chilli pizza and wog boy pasta to start. Pizza was ok but was left in the oven to long and parts of the base were burnt. Wog boy pasta was terrible swimming in a pool of yellow grease, store bought spagetti (so obvious its depressing) and strangely cut up prawns that were completly tasteless... why not served whole? To cut down the serving size and because they were frozen i believe. Very under seasoned and topped with a single tiny basil leaf and a tiny smattering of grana pedano. For $25 is it really that much to ask for in house made pasta not swimming in a grease pool? Mains were a simple margaritta pizza and a traditional italian. The margaritta was bland and lacking a decent tomato base and seasoning , my pizza came topped with italian sausage instead of chorizo as stated..i assumed they had yet again run out and ate it and it was tasty with good base saving my main but not what i ordered. Only one of the waiters we experienced was competent the young lad from bar who actually had manners. The young girls were terrible completly uninterested and untrained. Didnt bother with dessert they were expensive. Went up to pay the bill and the maitrade didnt say \how was your meal\ oh no she said \next time if you come on a saturday make sure you make a reservation\... w
