Breaking fast in Essence restaurant a huge disappointment Last night I joined friends in a ‘buka puasa’ (breaking fast) buffet dinner at the Essence restaurant. The food options were extremely limited (no chocolates for dessert, only bland local options, the roasr lamb was sometimes raw, rendang has mostly bones, hardly any meat, no oysters, sashimi - probably too exotic for this hotel). Plus they kept running out of saté and when the pressure got too high I saw the staff frying beef saté sticks to speed things up; terrible. The experience was probably ok for a 2 or 3 star hotel but not for a Sheraton.... Would not recommend this restaurant for a buka puasa
