After days of too much rich food, we enjoyed our two dinners here. Friendly service, pasta without an excess of salt, good drinks and reasonable prices. We recommend.

The food here is good, service is great, and the portions are huge. This place is just off the main tourist drag of the Corso Vanucci, so it is very conviently located. Best of all, it serves the full menu all day long! How many times have you been wanting a nice warm plate of good, saucy, cheesey pasta at 5 p.m., but you can\t find such a place, because in Italy, most restaurant kitchens close after 2 p.m. for lunch, and do not reopen until after 7 p.m. at night. Well fellow travelers, no need to put up with having to eat a sandwich or slice of pizza. If you\re in Perugia and are in need of a good meal between the hours of 2 p.m. and 7 p.m., eat at the Loft Cafe. It will make you smile.

We came into Perugia on a late evening in mid-September. It was cold and with a slight rain when we check into the hotel after which we went looking for some hot light foods. We came across Loft Café behind our hotel and was glad they are still open at 9.30pm. Carlos who attend to us recommended a starter of tomatoes with cheese and 2 hot pasta dish which is excellent. In the café there is a large marvel comic characters poster. With his limited English Carlos is always cheerful with his busy multi tasking works. We wanted to go back for coffee and cakes during our days in Perugia but were too busy. Thank you Carlos and your staff for the nice food and service.
