Having had many enjoyable meals over the years we booked La Barca for my brother-in-law\s birthday meal. I emailed the manager before we left and he promptly phoned me and was so helpful. We had a lovely table on the balcony overlooking beautiful Mellieha Bay. We were a party of nine, six adults and three children. We had Katalino look after us and he did a fantastic job of explaining the menu and said the children could have half portions of most menu items. We all enjoyed our selections of steak, rabbit dishes, octopus, prawns, squid and various fish. My nephew enjoyed Katalino showing him how to fillet his sea bream. As we had all enjoyed our meals and restaurant experience so much we returned for dinner on the last evening of our holiday. Once again we were looked after by Katalino who really is very entertaining and knowledgable of the food and wine. We followed his guidance on wine selections and were not disappointed. Friendly, helpful staff, delicious food, great wine selection and a stunning view. Perfect.
