have been on different occasions. Food is slightly expensive, but is really worth it..... family owned and run restaurant , very clean . Friendly people Closed on Mondays, and closes daily at 3 p.m.

Party of 3 on Father&#39;s Day Sunday morning. We arrived around around 8:30 AM. We were seated quickly, our order was taken in a timely manner and our breakfast was delivered in record time. Staff was attentive but not obnoxious. Food was delicious; I highly recommend entrees with biscuits and gravy or country fried steak. The servings are generous and reasonably priced. We left around 9:15 and there was a wait for tables but that could have been because of Father&#39;s Day.

We finally made it into Nick&#39;s and were very glad we did. We spent quite a while talking with Angela, the owner, and found out what a special place this is. Everything is homemade from scratch. No cut corners, no artificial anything, and no preservatives. The meats are hormone free. They take their food seriously and it shows. The lemon chicken soup is spot on. I had a patty melt and couldn&#39;t finish it. My son had a country fried steak that was as authentic as it comes and my daughter had one of the biggest chicken Caesar salads you&#39;ve ever seen. The homemade pastries are to die for. HUGE portions and lots of hospitality. Food is wonderful. We will be back for sure to try more of the menu.
