We didn\t feel like a buffet and found we could order some German food and beer at Sommerfest. There was a line at this counter service restaurant but the wait wasn\t that bad, especially since they had two registers to take orders. We ordered two brats with sauerkraut, apple strudel, the mac and cheese side (which someone in line said it was highly recommended), and a Dunkel and Oktoberfest beer. There was no place to eat in close proximity but if you walk past Snow White\s photo area, there are picnic tables. Enjoyed a nice, relaxing lunch. Even saw a bunny in the garden area.

We ordered the bratwurst with paprika chips, a side order of noodle kugel, and a side order of potato salad ~ which was more than enough food to share between two people. I particularly liked the chips which were generously seasoned with a sweet paprika and were the perfect accompaniment for the bratwurst. The kugel (similar to a baked mac & cheese) and the potato salad were good too. The negative is that there is extremely limited seating for most of the quick service restaurants in the World Showcase at Epcot and this place is no exception. But don\t let that deter you from tryi g Sommerfest.
