This restaurant has a warm atmosphere with lots of wood in the bar and dining room. Very extensive menu of European and Asian foods all cooked with authentic tastes.

I have been frequenting this restaurant for more than 7 years. There is a very large menu and I have never been disappointed. However, I have to admit that the BBQ ribs are not only the best in Bangkok but in my opinion the best in SE Asia. The quality is superb (very meaty) and so tender you don\t need a knife. Treat yourself and go for the full rack.

Should have read the reviews before I went. The positive ones mention mostly the location (good for people watching), nothing about the food. Being Dutch I went out of my way whilst visiting Bangkok for a day to have lunch in Old Dutch. My last visit was years ago and then everything was fine. Someone on here mentioned that the old Dutch owner has sold. He probably left the new owner with some recipes but it was nowhere near what it used to be. First I had the typical Duch \kroketten\ which the menu said would come with fries and salad, but it did not. The kroketten were poorly cooked. They should be golden to dark brown, these were more yellow white. Altogether a disappointment as also the taste was mediocre at best. I did not say anything about the missing fries and salad as -despite the disappointment- I liked to try another favorite Dutch dish \gehaktbal met pindasaus op brood\ (meatball with peanut butter sauce on bread. The meatball was very dry and tasteless, the peanut butter sauce was of the variety where you only have to add water. Had they only used milk could have helped a bit. Two slices of not very fresh white factory bread finished it off. I will not be back and can only suggest you do not go either unless you go there to sit and watch people going by.
