I have lunch at Ploen quite frequently because it is close to my office. The service is good and the food, in particular seafood, nice. There is a big variety of dishes, so it is excellent in case of group of people with different tastes. Outstanding desserts (do not forget to try the chocolate lava). In the end a positive experience.

The restaurant is not located in the city centre and we had s little adventure to get to it because the taxi driver did know exactly where it was. The decoration of the restaurant is modern and the premises are big with different large rooms in and outside. We arrived there at 21:30 and most of the action was over so we got a lot of attention of the friendly staff. We had four dishes amongst them huge prawns and a fish of unknown specie. The prawn and the fish were nearly tasteless, no wonder it was sweet water stuff. The bill was not tasteless... I found it too expensive.
