I spent well over 3 weeks on Khao San and Soi Rambuttri. Came back to this place more then a dozen times. The offer big chang bottles for 80 baht. Waiters are all very friendly. Live music every night. Mostly a guy with his guitar, sometimes a full band, depending what time you go. Their food is average - unless you go for the soups, they all tasted great.

We were looking forward to spending time at Suksabai again this year. Unfortunately, the food & service has gone downhill. I\m not sure what has happened in the last year but they need to make some improvements!

First I have to say I\m sorry I have to rate this place so low, because the service was good, and I had a great time here with a friend, but this is a restaurant review! I love Thai food, and all totaled I\ve spent years in Thailand, as well I try and search out good Thai food wherever I am. I ordered the Green Curry, my favorite dish , which is normally one of the spiciest curries, but unfortunately this was just BAD ...it was the blandest, non-spicy, watered-down, no-flavor curry I\ve ever had ...it would have been spicier if I just poured my Chang beer over my rice! I don\t know if they water it down for the tourists, but it was the worst green curry I\ve had in Thailand, possibly the world. Great location and good service, and I enjoyed the live music ...might come back if I were just having drinks!
