Just reopened at a new location (a house refurbished Japanese style; plenty of parking) in the Aree (also spelled Ari), Paholyothin neighborhood, Sousuku has retained its very own style of sushi: big piece of quality fish, just enough rice to form a flavorful bite. Sousuku is located on the upper floor of the restaurant/house. (The ground/ first floor is to be a shabu we were told.) It is definitely more spacious than before but still it seems there are not enough tables for the eager sushi lovers. The seating for dinner starts already at 5pm and from our observation once a table is freed, a new group of customers immediately happily occupy the coveted table. The staff is friendly and trained to be efficient. At Sousaku, sushi is King ... With a wide variety of "quality toppings". The Nigiri Menu offers grilled unagi (99 baht per piece ), tsubugai,hokkigai, boiled and fresh ebi, for instance. Sousaku \s Aburi Party Set ( 999 baht) is highly recommended, as well as the Sousaku Meat Lover ( 499 baht ) and the Engawah Aburi. Moreover, we found the Sashimi set ( grand) to be a steal for about 1150 baht: fresh, succulent, generous pieces of salmon,akami, marugoban, scallop, hokkigai and ikura. The nigiri with thinly sliced wagyu beef aburi is not to be missed. Crispy salmon roll is another highlight. A drawback is that the beverage list is rather limited and there is no dessert on the menu yet ... But dessert should be offered soon. All in all, Sousaku is one of the best sushi restaurants in town for the quality,value for money , attention to detail in the food presentation, and "simplicity in the creation" that hits the highest note of flavorful taste.

This is by far one of the best Sushi places I\ve ever been to! To die for freshness of the raw materials and every time it feels like you\re eating in Japan! Once or twice is never enough!
