We stumbled on this place "by mistake" on a Saturday evening and decided to try it. No regrets. The service was impressing and so was the food. The chef offered us advice what to eat and composed a hot pot for my vegtarian wife. I had thin slices of beef, "grilled" with a gas burner at our table. The place is small, but worth all the attention it can get. Just by Lumpini park and close to Silom.

Have been eating here pretty regularly at lunchtime over the last 3 weeks. I have been consistently impressed by the quality of their food & their service. For about $10-$12 US, they serve a variety of lunch \set\ meals which include a good sushi/sashimi selection & sides. Pleasant atmosphere, a good option if you\re in the area.

As we were wandering near the Sofitel Hotel in Bangkok, we discovered a nice Japanese restaurant on a side street. It was actually pretty elaborate for a relatively small place (but, with a ground and second floor) -- very cozy, unpretentious, and a friendly hostess who presented the menu with a pleasant smile. We decided to give it a shot and ordered the lunch special consisting of grilled Japanese eel with rice. It was one of the best eels I have ever tasted, priced at around $16, and came with miso soup, green salad, and two appetizers. The next time we visit, we may order a beautiful tray of sushi and sashimi like the one we noticed on the table next to us.
