We visited the restaurant in June. We arrived around 5:30, they are open until 7:00pm, but they were already starting to stack chairs and sweep. It felt very awkward being in a restaurant with people sweeping and cleaning around you. Our waitress was fine, but not overly friendly. Our food was great and we even ordered a platter to go. The prices were also very reasonable. I would recommend it to anyone looking for soul food in Miami, just make sure you go for lunch rather than dinner.

It was four of us on a Sunday and it was busy and by the time we got there they were out of a lot of things like tarter sauce, salmon croquettes and other things. Since it was busy they were slow but when the food finally came it was very good. You get a good amount of food for the price. I don\t think I saw anything on the menu over 20.00. I will go again.
