El Toro is best known for it\s Salsa music and Spanish and Thai food. However, there is a new addition to the Menu: \Nee\s Noodles\ are terrific -- the best I\ve tasted! At 40 baht for a large portion I can recommend them. Although they have only been on sale for a couple of weeks now the locals and tourists are finding them very popular. You have to try them! Eat in or take-away, they are a good value-for-money dish.

I attended El Toro with my girlfriend in February 2016. As an owner of a Mexican food business I love to try mexican food and see how people do it differently and can also sympathise with a few of the poorer reviews on here. Firstly, we are in Thailand so the food isn\t going to be \just how momma cooks it\ or the local chef because they simply can\t get the same ingredients. Also, I see people say they lack flavour, it is difficult to serve spicy food to the wider community, especially in a foriegn country because you cannot get the spice right for everyone. Drinks were pretty standard beer and a cocktail. Both sound. Anyway, we opted for the nachos which came out individualy with a delicately placed bit of chilli, gauc and sour cream on each one. Tasted good, only issue is the chilli was stone cold being served in this way because it was in such small portions, maybe this was because the nachos were homemade. Homemade is a nice touch, but if you want to use less to save time, maybe you\re shooting yourself in the foot. For the mains we got a couple of burritos with homemade wraps, fair play for this, they are time consuming to make and they were filled with chilli chicken and quite thin with no rice inside (the common way of fattening out the burrito cheaply) however as this was part of a larger sharing meal this is fine as we had chilli and rice on the way so did not want anything too filling. This is the point i\m getting at, its not the usual way of serving it but I myself sell massive burritos as this is what is expected in the western world. We also had chilli beef and rice which was good also. The bill came, you cannot argue I think it came to a tenner! All in all, there are a few areas that could be improved but I think it\s a case of food not being processed as it is at home. If you want a mexican in Thailand expect it to be different or fly the chef from your local Mexican who may happen to be a Englishman from Stoke-on-Trent. Otherwise, go to Mexico :)

Wanted a change from Thai food and decided to try here. OK. We are in Thailand , so as you can imagine it was not the most authentic Mexican I haveeaten -BUT - it was not that bad. I had the special nachos and my wife had the quesadillas . The prices were not bad so all in all it was fine!
