My wife Kathy and I hopped on the Scooter and into town on Hwy 11 for a St. Paddys Day beer, right! We had not been to the Pub yet so an easy destination made sense. The Pub has a really nice layout with plenty of parking, restaurant on the right and The Pub in the back area of the grounds. We walked in and the immediate thought is that we are having one beer and gone. I looked at Kathy and she agreed...we did not even have to speak. The crowd consisted of 3-4 older male farongs drinking at the bar and solving the worlds problems, about 6-8 western college kids wearing Guiness hats, a couple sitting on the couch looking like they wish they were anywhere but here...and us. No worries, I\ll have a Guiness and white wine for Kathy The wine was way sweet but the Guiness was outstanding...duh. Ordered Fish & chips which were pretty bad. Overall experience, everyone was friendly, nothing made it suck or anything but it was kind of like eating grits without seasoning or butter. Why do it when you don\t have to. That is kind of how it felt, not bad...just not good either. Won\t be going back but if I was a western male over the age of 60 and I was walking by and had nothing to do...I would definitely stop in. Not sure if I would eat...but I would have a beer.

My bf and I went there for lunch on Saturday. We were expecting nice yummy food as we live nearby and always happen to walk pass the place. The menu looks great from the outside.. I ordered the pork chops with chips (lucky me) and he ordered the lamb dish with mash. We waited for about 15 mins then my food was served The pork chop was burnt to the bone. The lamb was inedible and it got my bf soooo angry. The mash obviously came from the powder mash. The only we consumed there was water. Don\t waste your time and money here. We went right to Duke\s afterwards. Thanks god Duke\s is nearby.
