Just stopped in for lunch on a Sunday and had a great meal. They have $10 specials as well as a reasonable a la carte range. we chose the battered fish meal as opposed to the special fish & chips so we got a freshly prepared meal rather than frozen pieces. The fish was perfect, not to fatty with crispy batter and the chips and salad were just right. The house \savvy\ was really good for a house wine - could have easily gone another if we had more time. Friendly staff and atmosphere made it a great lunch

Good crown of people – much more animated when regular quiz started. As a tourist I was embraced and had a good evening. Next week also had quiz and though I didn’t take part it was well attended again. Basic food but the bar was about more than that. Would not recommend to the gentile as it is what it is and some of us on tours we egt fed up with \tourist places\ and this place was not.
