Second day staying upstairs in the Russell, could not resist having another gloriously messy BBQ Chicken Wing experience in as many days... they are now the benchmark by which all other similar dishes are going to aspire to. Lovely little pub, friendly efficient service... Could not recommend it enough. Of course sitting by the window, basking in the rosy afterglow of our chicken-wings, watching the world scurry past was just the cherry on the top.

We just travelled from the northern end of the Central Coast and needed something to eat after booking into the hotel. We shared two light snacks with beer which were ok. When we asked about dinner menu for later that night the barmaid didn\t give us confidence that it would be very good. So we ate dinner up the road.
