I know this is just one of a growing chain, but mediocrity just doesn&#39;t cut it in the competitive Sydney dining scene these days. The food was disappointingly average - the quality was just OK but quite small serving sizes compared to the menu photo&#39;s which led to an initial letdown feeling. I expect people come for the alfresco dining and the extensive bar menu. There are much better choices in and around the Central Park area for food - even up in the food court on level 2 of the main shopping centre there.

We were going here to try the Cuban coffees and as it was lunchtime decided we would eat there too. The food was ok, nothing special, and the cafecitos were very good but the place as a whole is terrible. The first thing I noticed was how dirty the floor inside was. Add to that the fact that the sauce bottles on the tables were either empty or really grubby and it didn&#39;t really entice you in. I also noticed that the wine glasses they were taking to other tables were not cleaned properly. There were three floor staff serving but there didn&#39;t really seem to be anyone particular in charge - they were very unkempt in their &quot;uniforms&quot; and were not attentive - we were actually short changed by $10 when it came to paying the bill! Not impressed

Those 2 people that I&#39;ve met at this restaurant were awful ! No sense of hospitality, not even a smile or anything to satisfied the customer. We were ready to pay (my friend and I), and they refused to split the bill. It was not written on the menu or on our table before we order our meals. They could definitely split the bill with the eftpos machine, because none of us had cash, and they simply refused ! It means that if we were eating both a 2 different table, we will had 2 different bills. Moreover, they were charging us 10% more because of the public holiday (that was written on the door, so we were aware about it, but nothing about splitting the ill though). They were pretty disappointing, an awful place to stay, we had to wait 15min before someone dare to come and give us the menu, and the restaurant was empty. I don&#39;t know if those people have already been in a restaurant or if they know what does &quot;hospitality&quot; mean, but they should not work in a place like this. Your work is to make the customer &quot;happy&quot;. I left that place by regretting sitting there. I won&#39;t recommend you that restaurant in Central. Hope their management will read that and change his employers !
