We met up here with friends on Anzac Day. They had a good selection of beer and the food, albeit a limited menu, was really good and the service was quick. Overall atmosphere was great, even though we were downstairs away from the 2-Up.

This venue has everything going for it: great location, a sun-filled outdoor terrace and a stylish \modern pub\ interior . So it\s incredibly disappointing that their service levels drag the whole thing down to such a degree. We arrived and grabbed a seat outside. Our group was celebrating a friend\s new business and so we ordered a bottle of champagne (which was an advertised special) and then were told that they didn\t have any. To be fair, they scoured the Hotel and found us a bottle, but it was a bit of a strange start. When we ordered our food, we chose a charcuterie plate as an entree to share 4 main courses. When the charcuterie plate turned up it came with 2 of the mains. The other 2 mains came about 5 minutes later. The food itself was okay, but not great. No-one at the table bothered to finish their meals, which isn\t a good sign. After lunch, we moved off the terrace (none of the heaters was on and it started getting a little chilly). One of the tables near us was covered in food scraps and old plates. The family that had been sitting there had left 10 minutes before and it hadn\t been cleared. It then took the staff another 5-10 minutes to clean up the table. I don\t whether they were understaffed or simply disorganised but the whole experience was a let down. Its a pity because this space has such good potential but it is currently going to waste.

What a shame this place has lost its way? What was once a stalwart lunch option is now a mediocre maybe Food was truly disappointing my popcorn prawns were far from popping and were eventually presented to us on a sad bed of not so icy iceberg lettuce FIsh taco were way too wet and just plain ordinary Service with a smile but not much more Took too long to order and way too long to wait for what was utterly disappointing Bar staff equally unimpressive Thank god the rise was chilled albeit not much more than a mouthful So many great pubs in that area you juts can\t cut it with this kind of offering .... Or can you ? Location location location
