Went for dinner with 3 friends using voucher from Groupon. Portions were miserly. Most probably was reduced to less food on the plate as we were using vouchers. Never has that happen with other restaurants.

WE had lunch today at Vessel an Italian Restaurant ay King St Wharf,a large spreadout area with separate bar & restaurant. Not exactly not a cosy place with not much atmosphere. My Partner had anti pasta as a starter which she enjoyed,I had seared scallops which looked a little lonely on the plate with just a dab of puree. My Partner had Barramundi for a main which looked good & she said was excellent. Unfortunately I chose the sirloin steak which in all honesty was terrible.It had absolutely no flavour & although it was cooked just below medium & had slight colour,it was actually bone dry & tasteless.It may have been frozen. When asked by the Waiter how was my lunch I told him & he said he would tell the Chef,who said it was new grass fed beef & that may have accounted for the taste, Must have been very dry grass.
