This place on a Monday at lunch time was so peaceful. About 10 other customers all talking quietly. Loved the shrine with a can of VB see photo. Loved the food. Had stir fry duck with mushrooms and side of boiled rice. Mushrooms so meaty, with snow peas and green beans as well. The flavour was lovely but if you don\t like picking out the bones order a different meat. The rice was a bit sticky but I so didn\t care as all together it all tasted great. The rare beef pho had a wonderful flavour too, just the right amount of tang and not as salty as some. Huge soup bowl. The table had 9 things on it to add including about four types of chilli, fish sauce, whole garlic cloves in some kind of liquid, a couple of sauces. The chop sticks, spoons, forks are also all there for you to pick which you want. Complimentary Chinese tea of some sort, bean sprouts, a quarter of a lemon and a big sprig of basil arrived when we sat down to be used if wanted. It was all easy, cheap, and yum. Might be my next regular Vietnamese I think. The bloke who served us was perfectly pleasant too.

Pho was disappointing - meat wasn\t rare, over-cooked and all clumped together. Waitress was extremely rude and practically yelled at me for asking for things. Don\t go here if you expect service with a smile...or good food for that matter.
