I organised my Hens here in March 2016, we had a group of 20 ladies with ages ranging from 68 years old to 18. EVERYONE had a great night. In saying that, we had told people what to expect of the evening. I\ve read some of the reviews here and can see where people are coming from. This place is not for everyone. What made this venue so great was that we went for the full package at $109.00 a head, which is exceptional value - i did a lot of research before booking. The entertainment essentially went for 6+ hours, followed by drinking/dancing or you could leave whenever. I think this is what made the difference, the activities and inclusion went throughout the night. Some of the other groups may not have had the same experience if they booked a lesser package or their guests were not \into\ this sort of activity. Everything was tasteful and respectful and essentially just a fun girls night out. DOWNSIDE: I thought for $109.00 there might be a downfall and there is. The food is pretty average/bad. I didn\t really think you could get a Greek salad wrong, but apparently you can. Again this wasn\t really a problem as everyone still had something to eat and we were all too busy drinking and having fun, but I guess the advice is that if you want really good food, don\t come here for that. Overall - if you know what to expect, you shouldn\t be disapointed :D

I attended a Hen\s night at The Mediterranean on a Saturday night in February 2016. Upon walking up the steep flight of stairs to the top floor, you are whisked away into a Greek paradise! Allegedly. You are shown into a large room packed with other groups of women on their own Hen\s night. Maneuvering to our table was a bit tricky, and they were far too close together. Apart from the masses of tables, there was one small dancefloor which wouldn\t have housed the masses if everyone wanted to dance. The music was trashy and unbelievably loud - I couldn\t keep a conversation with my girlfriend next to me without speaking directly into her ear. It wasn\t worth talking to anyone else in our party at all. Throughout the night I felt myself going deaf and my sit bones going sore on the hard wooden chairs. I would usually get up and dance at this point but the music was something to be desired. The food was acceptable, although I didn\t receive an entree as was promised by one of the staff members at the beginning of the night (being a vegetarian I had my own entree and main course). The main course was a risotto-type dish with potato which was quite yummy, but the zucchini was inedible. The entertainment throughout the night was a four piece guy group called Extreme Exposure. They had their dancing moves down pat but when you\re called Extreme Exposure you want both of those things. The most I saw was a bit of bum! Later on there was some entertainment by a drag queen which I found a bit out of place (not for Oxford St of course, but for a Hen\s night). I used this opportunity to visit the bathroom. As the night progressed some of the (topless) waiters came around and cleared tables, primarily water glasses which still had water in them. I found this strange, possibly a ploy to get people to go up and buy drinks at the bar, which upon my first and only visit (besides to get water) didn\t have any champagne tumblers, and everything was plastic! All in all, I found the nigh

Over priced, terrible food that was obviously frozen, then deep fried, and tacky topless waiters. The extreme exposure show was very average, and the drag queen was well can\t really say much on that either.
