4 of us visited on Saturday night. The staff were friendly and helpful which is a good sign. What we liked about this restaurant is that the tables are not close to each other and you feel comfortable to eat and chat in peace. The waitress helped us with our selections and was spot on with her meal choices. The stand out was the crepes with ricotta and a creamy cheese sauce. This was a huge portion and 2 of us shared this easily. The John Dory was great as were all of the other meals. Although not cheap eats the portions were generous and well priced. We had a leisurely meal and all vowed to return again. Just beware there are a lot of stairs to negotiate to reach this restaurant but at least we built up and appetite! Another plus is that this restaurant is both licensed and BYO

The food is Italian...excellent quality..always fresh and cooked to perfection. Marco , the Maitre D is the absolute best anywhere as he enthusiastically describes each dish in detail and how it has been prepared. Scampi from Western Australia is very special as is the spatchcock when in season. Oysters are to die for with a sweet vinegar dressing, but we have never been disappointed in all the years we have been faithful patrons of this upstairs restaurant. Quite a few stairs to climb if you have a disability. Nice selection of wines available.
