Our initial thoughts were excellent. The staff were friendly, helpful,professional and courteous. The décor was first class .However we were disappointed with the food. There was a significant lack of seafood in the Seafood chowder and the steak in the Surf and turf, although substantial was disappointingly tough.Although we did not order the seafood platter,it appeared to be a well presented and adequate serving when delivered to another table.I am afraid we were disappointed with the evening, a view shared by the seven of us.

The night stated perfect. Took out the nice car and dressed up for a romantic seafood dinner for my anniversary. Seen this place for over 10 years driving past so expected that it must be good to be in business so long. Arrived to the restaurant to be greeted at the desk by the waiter who asked if it was dinner for two. With only 9 people in the place we were sat in a dark conner table that sat in a dent in the back conner next to the kitchen when the whole place was empty. Ordered food and drinks but the food came before I had to remind them of the drinks orders 15 min early. Food presentation was plan at best. A full lobster sat on a bed of fries, that\s it. Food was plain and ok but the dinning experience was very poor. Once plates were cleared you are given police style interrogation if you are going to get desert. Even the manager questions you and if you don\t order any prepare to be ignored. Over 20 mins and telling 3 seperate waiters for the bill before our first waiter final returned to say " oh you wanted the bill, cash or card if card come up to the counter." I\ll let you guess if they got a tip? Well it looks like they know how poor ther service is as the added a $17 surcharge for a normal Sunday night with no advice prior of the charge. Let\s say I won\t be returning for a round two. Good luck if your going. Can\t understand how it\s been in business so long.
