A bit pricey, but the food is exquisite. There are vegan options and vegetarian options and everything on the menu is delicious and very tasty. The service is attentive and the location is easy, breezy. Grab a coffee. They make a good brew, and anything with chocolate, like a hot chocolate or a mocha is presented with decadent, rich chocolate around the sides. It\s finger-lickin\ good. I always have the same thing- the Planet Newtown. It fills me up and I don\t need to eat until dinner. It\s so tasty and there\s so much to it. Recently I\ve been exploring the menu and forcing myself to try new things, and all the options I\ve chosen have been great, every time. Haloumi salad is so yum, The Local is so yum. I feel like Barmuda can do no wrong and even though they\re a bit pricey, it\s great value and totally worth it.

Somewhere we will try again when not so busy for Sat. brunch/lunch crush as had such good revues. Perhaps with the wild variance of reviews they don\t cope when slammed or have different staff on the weekend etc. Who knows, but on a Saturday at lunch time for a group of regular breakfast friends it didn\t live up to expectations. After reading rave reviews of best breakfast and best scrambled eggs we gave it a go. Two orders of specifically ordered very, soft scrambled eggs came out more like an omelette with colour and solid consistency. Both orderers of scrambled eggs expressed how hard the eggs were cooked and one of the eggs went back yet returned much the same. Bacon was more chewy than crisp and crunchy with three small half thin slices of sourdough, unevenly cooked (yet weirdly dry where they still appeared not toasted) served with a small dish side of quite melted butter. Eggs benedict ordered by another or our group declared OK but nothing special. Coffees and teas were excellent, however when someone orders a milkshake, serve it in the milkshake metal container as they are knowingly ordering a long milk drink - serving a milkshake in a short tumbler was "pooh poohed" around the table. No one came back to check that the replacement eggs were OK nor to ask us during the meal whether we would like more coffees etc. or anything else, which we would generally have ordered - missed opportunity. Good location, quality ingredients, yet mishandled for our visit at a peak time across food and service. We\ll give it another go at a quieter time due to reviews.
