We first started frequenting this unassuming little restaurant on a very busy eat-street several years ago. The food is very authentic and we definitely have our a favourites. Chef \Kevin\ (hardly speaks English at all but recognises us every time and sometimes sends out a complimentary dish, which broadens even further the dishes we have tried and liked there. We would never have thought of ordering the black fungus or the marinated cucumber otherwise! Our favourite dishes include the Chilli Chicken (lightly battered small chicken pieces deep fried with whole chillies) - not for the faint hearted! The SIngapore Noodles are some of the best I\ve ever tasted, and the Salt and Pepper Fish Fillets are fresh, moist and crispy. Renowned for their dumplings and handmade noodles, my favourite are the pan fried beef dumplings. There are many other dishes that we add to our core of always-ordered dishes, and none have disappointed to-date. It\s BYO and cash only, so don\t bring your credit card.

Went here for lunch yesterday. If I was Kylie Kwong? I would take my endorsement down from the front door. We waited for 40mins for the most disgusting looking dumplings I have ever seen. They where not even cut from the dough and looked like a bizarre pancake! they where covered in so much oil you could not stomach it. The beef noodle in XO sauce smelt foul and again was swimming in oil. The Pepper chicken was fatty thigh pieces again dripping in oil.. I would not recommended this place to anyone
