We looked for a milk shake spot in Seaforth and stumbled across Taste of Belgium. What a great find! Best quiche - fresh and home made - and excellent chocolate milk shake. Friendly service and nice atmosphere. We will definitely go again.

I have known Didier; founder, owner and manager of the Taste of Belgium for years. He used to be one of the regular hosts of my French radio program before and just after establishing his "embassy of Belgium" in Seaforth! A very talented master chocolatier and patissier from Belgium with a world experience that included working at the White House in Washington DC. The location, environment, and atmosphere are very enjoyable. The patisseries and large cakes are all of top quality, but I still recommend the Liège waffles for a full Belgian experience that could be colorfully completed with few words in French and/or in Flemish exchanged with Didier. I went there last week on Thursday 31 December 2015 for a late morning coffee & sweets with my long-time friend Gerard who lives in the area. The environment is so enjoyable that we did not notice that we were there for over two hours!!
