I never test Korean BBQ before and it was a great experience. There is a great choice of sides to go with the meat you choose from a large list and everything was very tasty. Service is quick and the waiter came several times to see if everything is OK and to change the grill before it blackened ...

We visited O Bal Tan for my sister\s graduation dinner. She had searched for places beforehand and this place was up there for Korean barbecue. O Bal Tan is located in an alleyway in the Sydney CBD. Make sure to keep an eye out as you may miss it while in search. Even though this restaurant is tucked away, in hindsight, they do have a good location. We were seated straight away as we had a reservation and decided on going for some of the platters/dinner sets. As with any KBBQ, the dishes slowly come out and before you know it, your table is packed with too much Korean goodness that you don\t know where to start. There was so much to choose from. In addition to the meats to be cooked, we also ordered fried dumplings, fried tofu and a fried fish dish (apologies for the vagueness). The staff was great, all of them were very attentive and quite funny (one even posing in our photo). The place is quite nice, with such a welcoming ambience. I was surprised to see people trickling in and some also having bookings. It must be quite popular these days, and I\m glad we got to visit, it definitely won\t be our last time.
