Just discovered this delightful place in Concord and will be adding it to my list of fave local cafes. I loved the relaxed seaside feel in the suburban setting, the service was great and the menu was healthy. Had breakfast with hubby, and we ordered the Soul Bowl (kale, spinach, poached egg and gluten-free toast), Paleo Jar (quinoa, compote, coconut yogurt and fruit) and coffees. The total bill came to $40 which is pretty reasonable. Brekkie at Espresso 96 offered a great alternative to having the usual greasy, carcinogenic-laden foods to begin the day.

Very friendly staff and fast service. I had the mini burgers with chips - absolutely fresh and delicious. Great quick stop for lunch!

Food was wonderful, staff as well, until one in my group bit into what appeared to be glass maybe hard plastic? Upon alerting staff they were most apologetic, coming back and forth, apologising asking if they could get us something else instead. We told them it was fine, offered us a free coffee. Woohoo! Thank you but a 4 buck coffee doesn\t account for an almost 20 dollar meal! I\ve been in hospo for many years and pr is the most important thing in this business. Crickey take the price of the dish off, it was your fault, people! Let\s face it, it cost you all of $5! Your attitude has lost you my business.
