Love shopping here! Always have great produce and it is my go to when I need something just a bit special. The other week was the cream on the cake, quite literally…..had a bbq planned and wanted to get a large tart for dessert. They had a lovely fig one, but given I had some young children coming, I was hoping for strawberry. The team behind the counter went to see if the pastry chef was still there and whether he would be able to make one up. Bear in mind this was a busy Saturday also. They were still there and ½ hour later I had the perfect finish to my bbq event. They always go above and beyond. They may not be the cheapest (though there are usually some really good specials on), but their service is 2nd to none in the area. I often use them to get small tarts when I have people around for tea…my particular favourites are the lemon meringue, chocolate hazelnut and the crème brulee. Will be back time and time again.
