Selecting a venue for a business lunch can be daunting. Is the food great - there\s really no room for error here! How will the service be? What is the décor like? What if the venue gets too busy, or too noisy? And it can\t be too far from the office. You want it nice, with great service, but not \in your face\ wait staff who insist or demand your attention and who I\m sure make it their business interrupt conversations at critical points. Not so at the Republic Dining. In all my visits here, I\ve never had to sweat the detail. The food is excellent. Reasonable portions, exceptionally well cooked and presented, and to my mind, they serve one of the best scotch fillet steaks in Sydney and that is a big claim given the very competitive and also very good CBD steak venues. Excellent menu and wine selection, great sides and desserts. All done with no fuss. Not too rushed, nor hurried. Just right. The Republic guys and gals know what they are doing, especially Michelle, even if the venue can be a little too \blokey\ at lunchtime.
