We just went to Sushia Izakaya for lunch today and when we sat down at the sushi train around 1:30, the conveyor belt was about a third empty. This was not immediately obvious, as there were many plates on the belt that carried signs of the sushis that should have been there, but weren\t. By the time we had taken a few plates I realized that hardly any new plates were being added, so that, when we left at 2:00, the belt was well more than half empty. I pointed this out to the waiters, who told me apologetically that the place closed for lunch at 3:30. So obviously they stopped adding new plates by two o\clock? This makes no sense to me. Factor in that they didn\t have many of the sushi staples, such as octopus and eel, and I cannot call the experience anything but disappointing. (One could have ordered these of course, for about twice the price of the plates on the belt ...)
