Had a terrific evening here last month. The wine focus was on Spain, Portugal and the Canary Islands—with an amazing number of flights available. Reds, whites, all different styles, with knowledgeable but non-pretentious staff. The Canary Islands flights alone were unforgettable. Had such a perfect night I came back again the next night (I\ve never done that on a business trip to SF!). Food was inspired as well, and matched the wines perfectly. Again the service was perfect. To the reviewer who said the service was snobby: I saw not a trace of that on two full evenings. Perhaps the snobbiness was in the eye of the beholder?

We came away raving about the attentive and knowledgeable service. The menu changes quarterly - we were there during the \domestic\ period. Interesting cocktails, good wine choices and excellent fun plates. The best service we\ve experienced in a long time - we lived it and will be back for sure.

位于旧金山金融区的the barrel room,是一家集餐厅和葡萄酒吧于一体的馆子。分上下两层，上层一边是餐馆一边是品酒为主的酒窖。地下室还有个speakeasy 很有复古氛围适合比较亲密的对话。 地下室的酒吧没有红酒只有鸡尾酒，不过菜品和红酒都可以在楼上点好自己端下去或者让侍者送下去。服务非常到位。这家的葡萄酒选择非常多，一般会同时有超过二十多种的flight. 每几个月会有按照地区的特推（比如现在是拉丁美洲) 配酒小菜推荐芝士拼盘cheese board和我的最爱之一fried Brussels sprouts,食肉动物强烈推荐加培根!
